The door waterproof film (also known as a moisture barrier) is a critical component for cab preservation. It is installed between the door’s inner metal panel and the interior door trim card.
Its primary function is to prevent water that enters the door cavity (from window seals or drains) from reaching the interior trim and carpet, which can lead to mold, mildew, and rust.
